Water Damage and Restoration

Water damage in a home can come as a result of a burst pipe, outside water seeping in, an overflowed bathtub, sink or toilet, fire sprinkler system, or natural causes such as a hurricane or thunderstorm. Floods come unexpectedly and can cause huge water damage to a home. If your home has been hit with water damage, it is crucial to speak to a restoration specialist from a reputable restoration company to take care of the water damage restoration. If the water restoration and mitigation is not taken care of immediately after the flooding is discovered, it can lead to irrevocable damage to the home due to mold, mildew, or disintegration. We work with public adjusters and home insurance companies to make sure that the proper paperwork is submitted for a homeowners insurance claim when it is applicable. Whatever water damage restoration your insurance covers we will try to recover for you. Our goal is to preserve and restore as much of the home as possible with as little repercussions on the homeowner. We will only remove and get rid of structurally unsound parts and portions of the home that have been damaged beyond repair. Mold removal many times comes hand in hand with water damage restoration. Flood water contains pathogens and mud that can breed sicknesses, mold, and mildew. Mold multiplies quickly so it must be addressed immediately.

In addition to water damage restoration for the home, we also offer our restoration services for commercial buildings. In a large building with many employees or customers, it is not hard to have a small flood turn into large scale water damage spread across many floors of the building.  As soon as water damage is discovered, call Tristate Restoration and we will bring in our cleanup crew to get rid of the sitting water and then set up commercial grade fans and dehumidifiers in strategic locations to ensure there is no water within walls, floors, and ceilings. Water damage can negatively effect the structurally integrity of a building so bringing in a professional restoration company can save you money and liability in the future. If a building is up to fire code, they must have fire sprinklers installed on all floors of the building. Even if there is a small fire on one floor, all of the fire sprinklers will start spraying. This can lead to large scale water damage across many floors. Tristate Restoration is equipped to clean up and clear up all water and water damage from fire sprinklers.
